If YOU are looking for a Quality mare that has done just about everything, then Josefa is the one for
you. Your eye is drawn to Josefa’s Charisma as well as her size, outstanding conformation and
movements.
Josefa has been driven single, pair and three abreast doing field work. She spent winter of 05/06 with
our daughter in Alberta, working the pens in a 40,000 head feed lot. 8 hours a day for four months
moving cattle and roped off sure had Josefa in nice shape not to mention the experiences she could
tell you about. In the fall of 05 a friend of Sam’s “borrowed” Josefa for a pack horse on their hunting
trip. They were so impressed with Josefa that they asked for her fall of 06 but she was back in B.C.
Josefa and her sister, Jussi are in training to compete in CDE’s this year. Josefa’s working walk
transition to lengthen walk is incredible. Josefa’s trot transitions up and down are coming along just
as quick and remarkable as her walk transitions. Looking forward to our first Dressage test.
Currently we are also using Josefa to train the young Fjords how to drive in a pair.
