Gra Zanzibar has been used in one of Canada’s largest cattle feedlots for 5 months. While there he
was used to sort, work and rope cattle. No matter how hard the job or how long the day, Billy, (as we
affectionately call him) was always happy to get the job done. He is always willing and eager to go to
work whatever the job may be. Billy has also done some Ranch style roping, where he was used to
head as well as heel cattle.
Billy carried a former Stampede Queen in the Calgary Stampede Parade in 2006.
As a lesson horse, for all ages and all levels of riders, Billy’s happy work ethic shines again. A seven
year old youth will be showing Billy during the 2007 show season.
Kerry has successfully shown Billy in Showmanship and English Pleasure classes. She is working on
some jumping and Dressage training with Billy. They are currently working on Shoulders In, Haunches
In and Half Pass.
Billy has also been driven Single and in a pair and is looking forward to another career as a CDE Fjord.
